JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences; or Environment; or Engineering; or Public Health Science from a recognized University/Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Safety Inspector for performing the following duties:-

-        Carrying out routine inspection of workplaces;

-        Enforcing the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act,2006;

-        Advising management and workers on safety and health;

-        Investigating workplace accidents and dangerous occurrences;

-        Training and implementing publicity programmes on legal rights and awareness of the occupational dangers;

-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Work Hours: 8

Experience: No Requirements

Level of Education: bachelor degree
