We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying client needs, presenting our products and services, and offering technical solutions that best address customer requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in water pumping, irrigation, and solar markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate water pumping, irrigation, and solar solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring optimal product solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction through post-sales support.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on market trends, competitors, and technological advancements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Water Resources or related fields).
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or technical role, preferably in water systems, solar or irrigation.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to present engineering solutions effectively.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel within the region to meet clients and explore business opportunities.
