Job Title: Receptionist (Fresher Jobs) Organisation: Hariss International Limited Duty Station: Mpererwe – Tula, Kampala, Uganda About Organisation: Hariss International Limited is one of Uganda’s leading manufacturers of food and beverages. Since its inception in 2005 the production of both food and beverages have been operating under the brand name RIHAM. Job Summary:   The Receptionist will provide technical and administrative assistance to all units within HR Department of Hariss International Limited. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Handle all routine and non-routine correspondence, letters addressed to the units.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the office especially reception area.
- Using excellent customer service skills establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public.
- Greets and directs employee, in persons or by telephone and answers questions.
- Provides general information on Hariss
- Receives callers at the department reception, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination.
- Hands out Hariss brochures, information and materials.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree from a recognised Institute. Professional qualification in Office Management will be an added advantage.
- One year experience in a similar position, in a busy working environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Computer packages.
- Records management.
- Planning and Organization skills.
- Ability to work courteously with office personnel and the general public.
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
- Ability to communicate and empathize with employees.
- Good interpersonal relationships
