Job Summary: Â Â To operate the press and auxiliary equipment properly so as to timely produce a quality product and attain the print order in the most cost effective way.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates the reel stands, the printing press and the fountain Solution douser and pump
- Ensures good quality materials are used on the press.
- Generates production reports
- Carries out minor maintenance of equipment
- Carries out press shutdown
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Academic: Uganda Certificate of Education (O level) or equivalent
- Professional: Certificate in Printing Technology or its equivalent
- Experience: 2 years working experience, preferably in a printing environment of a media house.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow through and close issues
- Willing to work long hours
- Planning and organization skills
- Good report writing skills
