Job Summary: Â Â Thinkx Software Ltd. is seeking a talented Junior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Kampala, Uganda. As a Junior PHP Developer, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining our innovative digital financial services platform.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of PHP-based web applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Learn and use industry-standard PHP frameworks and libraries.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Strong foundation in PHP programming.
Experience with popular PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
