The Mukwano Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal care products and plastics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check and post all production and process orders in SAP on a daily basis.
- Manage and transfer stock from Work in Progress (WIP) to Central Warehouse in SAP as well as cross checking and verifying stocks on a daily basis.
- Creation, modification and closure of Stock Transfer Orders.
- Create, transfer post and print reservations on a daily basis.
- Billing and invoicing by creating outbound deliveries as per loading notes given by the loading supervisor and comparing them to the stock transfer orders.
- Preparation and timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly basis reports or any other reports requested by management.
- Projection and requisition of raw material after verification with supervisors, bills of material and customer orders.
- Opening and closing of Plant Maintenance Notifications (job orders) in case of breakdowns.
- Preparation for and active participation in audits by clarifying audit requirements, verifying corrective actions and communicating any changes made in the system.
- Participation in the stock taking exercise.
- Maintaining proper records by compiling, sorting and filling all documents received.
- Entry and compilation of counter production data after comparing physical stock and damages with the machine recordings.
- Any other duties assigned from time to ensure continuous flow of work.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in business administration or any other related discipline.
- At least two years of working experience in a similar role in a large company. SAP experience is an added advantage.
- Skills & Professional Attributes: Result Oriented, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Records management skills, and knowledge of computer packages, professional skills and good behavioral competences.
NB: Travel outside the office is required with respect to making site visits and workshops. *The jobholder is not subject to work that is physically demanding and is generally not exposed to any hazards as a direct consequence of the job. The jobholder is on call and may be required to work overtime and weekends.
