About the Company:
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is a statutory body established under the Communications Act 2013 to regulate Telecommunications, Broadcasting and Postal sub-sectors. In carrying out its mandate and mission of driving the development of a robust communications sector in the country.
Job Summary: Â Â To assist in overseeing general office duties to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve tea for staff and visitors.
- Assist with the setup for meetings or events.
- Maintain cleanliness and usability in the tea areas and other assigned work areas.
- Deliver documents, packages, and newspaper distribution securely between offices.
- Run errands such as purchasing meeting snacks among others.
- Provide backup support for reception or administrative tasks when needed.
- Assist with basic office tasks such as photocopying, scanning or filing documents.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line supervisor.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Uganda Advanced Level Certificate of Education or Uganda Certificate of Education with an additional certificate in catering or food management.
Working Experience
- Minimum of one year experience in food management or cleaning role.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Technical
- Cleanliness or hygienically sensitive.
- Basic office management.
Behavioural
- Multiskilled
- Communication and customer service skills.
- Time management.
- Integrity and confidentiality.
