- Ensure the general ledger integrity through monitoring the utilization of suspense accounts and resolution of non-compliant transactions with the policy guided time frame.
- Ensure full reconciliation of all the systems utilized by the Bank to process transactions e.g. Oracle Financials, Sopra, Core Banking system and any other transaction processing systems,
- Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new reconciliation tools, systems, and processes.
- Responsible for the preparation and filing of accurate tax returns (VAT, withholding taxes, Excise duty etc.) in compliance with applicable tax regulations and guidelines
- Process vendor/service provider invoices as per the applicable internal policy guidelines and processes and perform reconciliation of vendor accounts were required.
- Monitor asset acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and impairments to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain efficient accounting processes for asset tracking, management and reporting.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: - A Bachelorâs Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration is required
- Professional Qualifications like ACCA, CPAU â Level 2 are an added advantage
Experience - A Minimum of 1 Year Experience in Financial Accounting, Taxation Management, Stakeholder Management, Banking Operations, Risk Management and Digital skills.
