This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Officer, based in Kampala. The Finance Officer will oversee financial operations, prepare and analyze financial statements, and manage financial reporting processes. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and supporting decision-making through financial insights. The Finance Officer will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and work collaboratively with other teams to maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications or requirements

Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting.

Strong Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of Finance concepts and practices.

Excellent Communication skills to present financial insights and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.

Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.

Experience working in the logistics or supply chain industry is an advantage.
