JOB DETAILS:
Action for Rural Women’s Empowerment (ARUWE) is a non-profit; Non-Governmental Organization working with marginalized groups of people, especially women and girls.
ARUWE has received financing from Impact and Innovations Development Centre (IIDC) to scale up the implementation of the Responsible Engaged and Loving (REAL) Fathers program, which is an evidence-based, community-led parenting mentoring program aimed at reducing intimate partner violence and violence against children while promoting early childhood development and learning through play. ARUWE is now looking to fill the following positions to implement the project and invites eligible candidates to apply.
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to provide support in financial planning and management of project budgets in accordance with grant contracts and internal organization policy. He/She will ensure that project finances are utilized according to organization policy and contractual agreements between ARUWE and IIDC. This position is based in the Central Region but with frequent travel to other regions. The incumbent will report to the Finance Manager.
The Person
• Relevant academic training at Bachelor’s level.
• Professional training will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years practical experience in the financial management of community-based programs.

Experience in Months: 36
