Job Title:  Finance and Accounts Assistant/Specialist

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Processing:

• Accurately entering financial data into accounting software.
• Processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Maintaining organized and accurate records.
• Bookkeeping and Reconciliation:
• Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as updating journals and ledgers.
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.

Financial Reporting:

• Preparing reports and statements, such as monthly financial summaries.
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets.

Administrative Support:

• Providing general administrative support to the accounting department.
• Filing financial records and other important documents.
• Assisting with inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

Other Tasks:

• Assisting with month-end and year-end account finalization.
• Following up on outstanding invoices and payments.
• Performing collections process.
• Identifying and resolving errors in financial records.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Bcom (Accounting) or any other related field
• At least 2 -3 years of working experience in Accounting.
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
• Good organizational and decision-making skills.
• Excellent knowledge of computer usage.
• Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time efficiently with a professional Approach.
• The ability to overcome obstacles to solve problems to achieve results.
• A personal commitment to continuous self-development.
