Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement & Mobilization - Facilitate community meetings and sensitization sessions for bicycle programs.
- Liaise with district offices, schools, and community representatives for smooth program delivery.
- Support donor and leadership visits to program sites.
Program Implementation - Identify and engage beneficiaries for bicycle programs based on selection criteria.
- Coordinate bicycle distribution and conduct training sessions.
- Ensure accurate documentation and data collection in the field and office.
- Build beneficiary capacity for sustainability.
- Execute project plans and coordinate logistics with partners and officials.
Program Development - Identify community needs for bicycle programs.
- Contribute to strategy development, including log frames and implementation plans.
- Provide feedback to improve program delivery and incorporate learnings into future planning.
Monitoring & Evaluation - Conduct follow-up visits to assess bicycle usage and impact.
- Track activities via apps and collect/report field data using digital or paper-based tools.
- Identify challenges and suggest improvements.
Requirements: - Passion for cycling and conservation (able to ride 15 km easily).
- Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English, Luganda, and Lusoga.
- Diploma in community development, project management, or related social sciences.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
