- Analyze data to identify booking trends, product performance, network transfers, etc. to take proactive measures to enhance and protect AWAâs diverse revenue streams.
- Devise control strategies to prevent revenue loss due to spoilage due to duplicate, fake and/or partly paid bookings.
- Evaluate market conditions and trends to inform inventory management decisions
- Monitor route performance vis-Ã -vis agreed targets and liaise with sales team to identify opportunities and threats proactively and take appropriate measures to ensure route revenue targets are achieved.
- Liaise with other units and departments to identify and capitalize on potential revenue generation opportunities.
- Provide support to interline and codeshare partners as required; conduct analysis of interline traffic being received from various partners.
- Provide revenue performance reports on a weekly basis.
- Ensure fare filing process for quick and accurate fare filing is adhered to by all relevant parties.
- Work closely with ATPCO and SITA for opportunities to improve fare filing efficiency of Uganda Airlines.
- Perform administrative processes such as updates of Passenger Air Tariff Manual and passenger tax filing and ensure they are done in a timely and accurate manner.
- Administer contracts and ensure billing with fare filing related vendors are done in timely and accurate manner.
- Support any review of system enhancement and process reengineering to improve fare distribution efficiency.
- Be point of contact for all fare filing related issues with stations and pricing team.
- Perform direct fare filing into ATPCO if necessary.
- Provide advice to pricing teams in Head Office and overseas stations for filing approach that achieve the desired commercial outcome by fully exploiting capability of fare filing system.
- Research and develop filing approach to achieve commercial objectives for cross selling, ancillary bundling, and personalization.
- Effective dissemination of tariff updates to pricing team or relevant frontline sales and marketing staff.
- Monitor SLA compliance with fare filing vendor.
- Assist in managing team of support staff in fare filing activities.
- Perform fare filing and coding directly into ATPCO Fare Manager or any tools that may be made available for fare and product distribution.
- Support customization of corporate contracts.
- Assess and improve effectiveness of fare filing by vendor. Monitor SLA of fare filing vendor.
- Any other administrative duties required to support the activities of the department.
Minimum Qualification and Experience: - A bachelor degree combined with 4+ years of experience in fares management, preferably in the Airline, Travel or Hospitality industry An IATA diploma an added advantage.
