Through our integrated model, we work closely with farmers to improve productivity, income, and livelihoods. The Opportunity. We are inviting applications from recent graduates to join Omia Agribusiness as Extension Volunteers (Graduate Trainees) across Arua, Koboko, Yumbe, Adjumani, and Kiryandongo. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for individuals passionate about agriculture and eager to gain practical field experience working directly with farmers and communities. Responsibilities - Support mobilization and engagement of farmer groups
- Assist in delivering extension services and farmer trainings
- Participate in field demonstrations and learning activities
- Collect and report field data using digital tools
- Support farmer linkage to inputs and markets
- Represent Omia Agribusiness at community level
Who should apply? - Recent graduates (Certificate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, crop production, horticulture or related field)
- Strong interest in working with farmers and rural communities
- Willingness to be field-based in assigned districts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic digital literacy (smartphone use, data collection tools)
- Ability to speak one or more of the following local languages is an added advantage: Lugbara, Aringa, Kakwa, Luo, or Madi
