Background
Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS) is an International not-for-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality secondary education across Africa. Since 2008, PEAS has established and operated a network of high-quality, low-cost secondary schools that complement government efforts to improve educational access in underserved communities. In Uganda, PEAS currently operates 30 secondary schools serving over 17,400 students, primarily from rural areas.
To support the continued delivery of our vision and mission and strengthen the quality of education across our school network, PEAS Uganda is seeking to recruit highly competent, passionate, and dedicated professionals for the following position:
Senior School Support Officer (3 Positions)
Location: Busoga Region - Mayunge (1 Position) and Teso Region - Kumi and Amuria Clusters (2 Positions)
Job Summary
The Senior School Support Officer plays a critical role in improving school performance by working closely with school staff to provide guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of effective school practices, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality education for all PEAS students. The successful candidate will be a respected educator, trusted by staff and communities, and capable of making sound decisions that uphold the PEAS mission and standards. As a field-based position, the role involves regular engagement with schools and practical support to drive improvement.
