School Scope: Nursery, daycare and lower primary (P1âP5) | Montessori, Cambridge and national curriculum Key Duties and Responsibilities - Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons
- Teach within Montessori, Cambridge and national curriculum frameworks
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom
- Assess learners and keep records
- Support childrenâs academic and social development
- Manage classroom behavior
- Work with staff to maintain teaching standards
- Communicate with parents
- Support school activities and growth initiatives
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements - Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Education or related field
- Formal teacher training
- Registered teacher in Uganda (or eligible)
- At least 3 yearsâ teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Understanding of child-centred teaching methods
- Ability to work in blended curriculum environment
- Good communication skills
Added Advantage - International/Cambridge/Montessori school experience
- Experience across early years and lower primary
- Montessori certification
- Experience with Cambridge or EYFS systems
- Strong literacy and numeracy teaching skills
- Ability to create engaging learning materials
- ICT skills
- First aid or child welfare training
- Strong parent engagement skills
