Position Overview The **Estates Manager** will manage all estate services including planned and reactive maintenance, technical support, energy management, sustainability, and landlord relations to ensure efficient, value-driven service delivery aligned with the hospital's policies and mission. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic leadership and effective management of the Estates Department.
- Oversee repairs, maintenance, and overall sustainability of hospital buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Develop detailed plans, budgets, and technical specifications for capital projects and procurements.
- Coordinate estate projects, conduct regular inspections, and ensure full compliance with safety and statutory standards.
- Manage staff performance and promote teamwork within the estates team to elevate service quality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies - Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of substantial experience and a proven track record in Estates Management across properties varying in size and use.
- Comprehensive knowledge of estates-related statutory and compliance requirements.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, team management, and customer service skills.
- Provide strategic leadership and effective management of the Estates Department.
