The KYLA Research and Data Collection Unit provides professional services in research, monitoring and evaluation, data collection, analysis, surveys, and reporting to a wide range of partners. KYLA combines quality data services with youth empowerment to support informed decision-making and social transformation.Uganda job market Role Description Enumerators and Data Entry Clerks will support KYLAâs Research and Data Collection Unit by collecting, recording, and entering accurate data for surveys, fieldwork, and monitoring and evaluation activities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting interviews and administering questionnaires, capturing data using mobile devices or paper tools, and entering information into databases or spreadsheets. The role involves verifying data quality, identifying inconsistencies, and collaborating with supervisors and field coordinators to ensure timely completion of assignments. Team members may assist with basic administrative tasks related to data management, such as organizing records and preparing summaries or simple reports. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Central Region, Uganda. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong typing skills and the ability to accurately input data at a consistent pace. Candidates should possess solid computer literacy skills, including familiarity with basic office software and data entry tools. Candidates should possess administrative assistance skills, such as organizing documents, managing records, and supporting fieldwork logistics. Candidates should possess effective communication skills for conducting interviews, explaining survey questions, and collaborating with team members. Candidates should possess customer service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with respondents and stakeholders. Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, reliability, integrity when handling sensitive data, and the ability to follow research protocols. Experience in data collection, survey work, or research projects, and familiarity with digital data collection using mobile technologies are an added advantage.
