The ideal candidate should possess strong dispensing skills, a good understanding of therapeutic treatments, and a commitment to providing quality customer care. Key Responsibilities - Dispense medicines accurately in accordance with prescriptions and established guidelines.
- Advise clients on the safe and appropriate use of medications.
- Provide basic healthcare guidance and therapeutic treatment recommendations within the scope of practice.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and medical supplies.
- Keep accurate records of dispensed medications and inventory.
- Ensure the drug shop complies with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements - Certificate or Diploma as an Enrolled Nurse, Midwife, or Pharmacy Assistant.
- Good knowledge of medicines, dispensing procedures, and therapeutic treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience in a drug shop or pharmacy is an added advantage.
Benefits - Salary: UGX 200,000â250,000 per month.
