The Printer Service Engineer provides technical support and maintenance services for a range of equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance. Scope of Duties: - Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs.
- Ensure equipment operates at peak performance.
Reporting Lines:
This position reports directly to the Repairs & Maintenance Supervisor. Extent of Authority:
All operational and financial decisions are of a support nature. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualification & Experience: - BSc. in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, or related field.
- Diploma in Hardware & Networking.
- Experience with large-scale machinery and equipment service sector.
- Strong understanding of lease management practices.
Complementing Skills & Abilities: - Proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Technical troubleshooting and configuration skills.
KEY RESULT AREAS: - Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on printing equipment.
- Conduct inspections of lease equipment, resolving operational issues proactively.
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
- Provide technical support and user training to clients.
