These roles provide an opportunity for alumni leaders to drive strategic initiatives, support fellow alumni, and contribute to the continued success of the network. Engagement & Events Lead Role Purpose To plan, coordinate, and deliver meaningful alumni engagement activities, events, and initiatives that strengthen relationships and community participation. Key Responsibilities - Develop and coordinate alumni engagement strategies.
- Plan alumni events, reunions, networking sessions, and community activities.
- Manage event planning timelines, logistics, and coordination.
- Encourage alumni participation and build stronger connections.
- Collaborate with other leaders to deliver impactful activities.
- Gather feedback from alumni to improve engagement initiatives.
- Maintain an active calendar of alumni activities.
Key Competencies - Excellent event planning and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities effectively.
Eligibility Requirements Applicants must meet the following requirements: - Must be between 25 and 35 years old.
- Must be a JA Uganda alumnus/alumna in good standing.
- Demonstrate commitment to JA Ugandaâs vision, mission, and core values.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Be willing and able to commit to a three (3)-year term of service.
- Lead and influence a growing alumni network.
- Strengthen connections and community impact.
