Exquisite Solution Limited is hiring an Electrical Engineering Graduate Trainee for a client in the oil and gas sector. The role involves supporting the Chief Electrician in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment, as well as inspecting all electrical systems on the rig site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Electrician in maintaining and troubleshooting rig-site electrical equipment and recording inspections in the Inspection & Correction Record.
• Support rig crew in following safe operation procedures, proper use of electricity, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensure all safety and warning signs are visible, complete, and properly maintained.
• Assist in maintaining radios, telecommunication systems, and UPS units.
• Comply strictly with PTW (Permit to Work) and LO/TO (Lock Out/Tag Out) requirements during operations.
• Manage spare parts and materials, including inspection, organization, stock records, and warehouse housekeeping.
• Collaborate with rig crew to complete additional tasks and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Recent graduate within the past two years.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas operations is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on, technical environment.
