Job Summary:
The Education Assistant II will support the education department in delivering quality education. This includes assisting teachers in the classroom, organizing educational materials, and supporting students in their academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom support to teachers and students.
• Assist in preparing and organizing learning materials and resources.
• Help manage classroom activities and maintain discipline.
• Support students with special educational needs.
Qualifications:
• A diploma or certificate in Education or related field.
• At least one year of experience working in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with children.
• Passion for education and student development.

• Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under listed vacant posts that exist in Sironko District Local Government.
• Applications must be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008), and on ESC Form 3 (1998) (Revised) for teachers and addressed to, The Secretary, District Service Commission, Sironko District, P.O. Box 34, Sironko to be received not later than 26th February 2025 at 5:00 pm.
• The application forms can be obtained from any District Service Commission offices countrywide, or from Public Service Commission website: www.psc.go.ug and should bear the title and its reference number.
• Applicants must attach certified copies of all academic certificates and transcripts; registration certificates; practicing licenses, a photocopy of the National Identity card, CV, three (3) recent coloured passport photographs, and any other relevant documents.
• Serving officers must route their applications through their responsible officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay. Applicants who are not currently in the civil service should be below 50 years of age. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Applicants who will not hear from us on conclusion of the recruitment exercise should consider themselves unsuccessful.
