The program aims to enhance teaching and learning in Ugandaâs secondary schools (O-level) and TVET institutions, integrating innovative solutions like career talks, project-based learning, and work-based learning. Key Responsibilities: - Technical Advice & Support: Guide partners and collaborate with VVOB colleagues to achieve project goals.
- Project Management: Contribute to project formulation, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Capacity Development: Support partners through workshops, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Networking & Policy Awareness: Stay updated on trends in agricultural education, youth empowerment, and international development.
Highlights of the Role: - Building partnerships with green agrifood sector actors (e.g., Young Farmers Champions Network).
- Developing strategies for school-enterprise collaboration.
- Creating a sounding board for a Green Agrifood CPD course for teachers.
- Facilitating workshops to improve internship (CIP) support for student-TVET instructors.
Who Weâre Looking For Eligibility: Ugandan nationals only. Expertise & Experience: - Masterâs degree in Education Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in fostering education-sector partnerships, ideally in agrifood.
- Strong understanding of school-work collaboration and competency-based curricula.
- Proven networking and change management skills in educational institutions.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
