Driver/Mechanic job at Q-Sourcing

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client IMPRINT HOPE we are looking for a competent, skilled and Experienced Driver/Mechanic to work in Jinja

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting physical repairs and maintenance of Imprint Hope Vehicles.
• Prepare maintenance schedules for Imprint Hope Vehicles.
• Prepare reports on trends and common problems and contribute to developing solutions & share with the supervisor. Facilitate vehicle servicing and repairs as needed;
• Drive Imprint Hope vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel, Imprint Hope beneficiaries and delivery and collection of supplies and equipment as directed by supervisor
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle
• carry out driver responsible tasks as detailed by supervisor
• perform other repairs and arrange for external repairs and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition
• Log official trips, daily mileage, gas/fuel consumption, and assist with the annual vehicle inspection.
• Provide advice on procurement of spare parts.
• Adhere to Imprint Hope’s Driver Policy at all times.
• Vehicle cleaning, always ensure that all vehicles are cleaned and presentable

Requirements

Typical Education, Skills and Experience Expected Education and Experience

• 1- Valid Ugandan Driver’s License.
• 2- Mechanical Certification
• 3- 5+ years of driving experience
• 4- Fluent English and Luganda speaker.
• 6- Experience with operations of an NGO is a plus
• 7- Experience working with or knowledge about persons with disabilities is a plus
• 8- Strong oral communication skills
• 9- Detail-Oriented with strong organizational skills
• 10- Exceptional integrity and ability to hold other accountable to IH Policies/procedures without exception.
• 11- Ability to manage stress, prioritize, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
