Key Duties & Responsibilities The driver will:
- Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of the HAC vehicle (complete service request forms and maintain service maintenance records) report in case of any mechanical problems.
- Ensure the vehicle is insured and all legal documents are in order at all times; inform supervisor three weeks in advance of any renewals due (i.e. insurance, road license, etc.).
- Drive HAC staff in a safe and courteous manner to field sites across Masaka, Rakai, Kalangala, and Lwengo.
- Deliver mail/messages as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the interior/exterior of the vehicle
Background & Qualifications Required
- Minimum Ordinary Level Certificate: A- Level Certificate is an added advantage; Valid driverâs license class (Class is B Preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) yearsâ driving experience preferably with NGOs.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Flexible and able to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Compensation This position is designed as a full-time position. Compensation is UGX.800,000/= per month before taxes.
