Responsibilities: - Ensure data transfer quality control at all times during operations and support the RTOC service provider to troubleshoot any issue.
- Assist Drilling Engineers in offset wells review dossier that includes analysis and visualization of major drilling/formation hazards, lessons learned, drill bit/BHA performances.
- Prepare well monitoring strategy with D&W Engineers: Organize kick-off meetings, define the drilling parameters, alert levels, issue communication protocols, vigilance points, and make sure relevant KPIs are agreed upon and implemented.
- Define documents to be shared with rig site and communicate same with regular follow-up. Ensure processes are known & applied at rig sites.
- Ensure operations follow-up and communicate any deviation as per communication protocol. Prepare all supporting data displays for decision making during briefings at the rig site.
- Ensure that all incidents captured through the RTOC are investigated, corrective actions are completed and lessons learned are shared.
- Closely monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the recent operational activities. Highlight any deviation from KPI targets to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure daily reports are shared on time and in the agreed templates.
- Organize the preparation of end-of-well report with the relevant recommendations for improvement.
- Perform other duties assigned by superiors.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering, drilling & completion, or the related.
- Certification related to drilling & wells is of an added advantage.
- At least 4 years of working experience in drilling and wells operations or engineering with a minimum of 2 years as a drilling engineer, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Knowledge: - Extensive knowledge of drilling design software (T-desk/ADEPT). Third-party software is a plus (trajectory, Anti-collision).
- Extensive knowledge of oil E&P.
