Through targeted training and mentorship, we prepare women aged 18â35 for dignified work in the digital economy. Under the Digital Job Center, a flagship initiative of the Digital Economy Program, we deliver market-driven training in high-demand digital skills, including digital marketing. The program focuses on bridging the gap between education and employment while responding to industry talent needs. Through the 10X Digital Economy Program, our reach has expanded to serve more young women with quality training, mentorship, and job readiness support. Role Purpose We are seeking a Digital Marketing Facilitator and Mentor to deliver practical, industry-aligned training and mentorship to program participants. The role focuses on building strong digital marketing competence, professional portfolios, and job readiness for digital employment. The facilitator delivers hands-on learning, mentors participants, and supports pathways to internships and employment. Key Responsibilities Training and Facilitation - Lead digital marketing modules using hands-on, project-based learning.
- Deliver sessions on key digital marketing channels, industry-standard tools, campaign development, data analysis, and portfolio building.
- Design real-world marketing projects aligned with current industry practices.
- Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment.
Mentorship and Career Readiness - Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to participants.
- Guide participants in building professional digital marketing portfolios.
- Support resume development, LinkedIn profiles, and interview preparation.
- Conduct mock interviews and career coaching sessions.
Assessment and Feedback - Assess participant performance through projects and capstone work.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback focused on skill growth and employability.
- Track learner progress and share updates with the Program Officer.
Industry Linkages and Job Placement - Connect participants to internships and job opportunities in the tech sector.
- Facilitate exposure to industry professionals through guest sessions and networking.
- Support real-world project collaborations with companies and practitioners.
Professional Contribution - Stay current with digital marketing trends and tools.
- Integrate relevant case studies and market practices into training content.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of program delivery.
Qualifications and Experience - Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and practices, including SEO, social media marketing, marketing automation, CRM systems, video marketing, mobile marketing, e-commerce tools, basic graphic design, visual content creation, and influencer marketing.
- Proven experience facilitating digital marketing training or workshops.
- Hands-on experience delivering real-world digital marketing campaigns or projects.
- Strong ability to translate complex concepts into practical learning experiences.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring learners or early-career professionals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and industry partners.
Deliverables - Weekly digital marketing training sessions.
- Guided capstone projects and portfolio development.
- Individual learner feedback reports.
- Career readiness and job placement support.
- Regular progress reporting to the Program Officer.
