JOB DETAILS:
• Purpose:
To oversee the administrative functions of the secondary school, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES) standards, managing staff, and improving the quality of teaching and learning within the school.
• Responsibilities:
o Lead the administrative and academic planning of the school.
o Supervise and evaluate teaching staff to ensure adherence to MOES guidelines and curriculum.
o Manage and monitor school performance, including academic achievements, discipline, and co-curricular activities.
o Maintain and enforce school policies to foster a conducive learning environment.
o Plan and oversee school budgets, including resource allocation and procurement.
o Coordinate with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to address student needs and challenges.
• Qualifications and Experience:
o Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant postgraduate Diploma in Education.
o Registered as a Graduate Teacher with the Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES).
o A minimum of four (4) years of teaching experience, with at least two (2) years in administration.
