Key Activities and Responsibilities - Conduct dental examinations and take relevant patient histories.
- Diagnose common dental and oral conditions.
- Provide appropriate dental treatment within professional scope.
- Perform routine dental procedures as trained and authorised.
- Provide emergency dental care where required.
- Promote oral hygiene and preventive dental practices.
- Provide patient education on oral health.
- Participate in community dental and public health activities.
- Maintain accurate dental records.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Refer complex cases to appropriate specialists.
- Maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Participate in clinical audits, health promotion, and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications and Experience - Recognised qualification in Dentistry or Public Health Dentistry/Dental Officer training as applicable.
- Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
- Valid practising licence.
- Relevant clinical experience is an advantage.
