Job Description/Requirements Key Responsibilities 1. Loan Marketing and Client Recruitment - Conduct field mobilization to attract new clients in the assigned branch area.
- Promote loan products to individuals, small businesses, and groups.
- Conduct loan sensitization meetings and financial literacy sessions.
2. Loan Application and Appraisal - Guide clients through the loan application process.
- Conduct thorough loan appraisals including field visits, business assessments, and home verifications.
- Prepare and submit accurate appraisal reports to the supervisor for approval.
3. Loan Disbursement and Documentation - Ensure all necessary documentation is complete before disbursement.
- Facilitate loan disbursement according to approved terms.
- Capture disbursed loans in the system with precision.
4. Loan Monitoring and Recovery - Follow up on repayments according to agreed schedules.
- Conduct daily monitoring of clients to prevent defaults.
- Initiate recovery action in line with company policy for late or missed payments.
5. Portfolio Management - Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio with low PAR (Portfolio at Risk).
- Track daily performance targets (disbursement, collection, client growth).
- Maintain proper records of client interactions and payment history.
6. Customer Service - Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications and Skills - Diploma or Degree in Microfinance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in credit or loan operations, preferably in a microfinance setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the local language and community.
- High integrity and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Motorcycle riding skills with a valid license is an added advantage.
