- Identify gaps/opportunities for business development services.
- Lead the development of new business opportunities and concepts, ensuring proposals are developed, approved, and executed.
- Compile funding requirements for projects and design proposals for external stakeholders.
- Link business growth to skills development, innovation projects, and strategic ICT ecosystems.
- Emphasize partnerships with ICT incubators, hubs, government, and private sector for sustainability.
- Strategy Development, Execution, and Monitoring
- Develop the Business Plan in line with UICTâs strategic objectives.
- Monitor strategies to ensure achievement of set targets and outputs.
- Execute business development plans with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve high-level or sensitive client queries, complaints, or requests.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate the department budget, ensuring value for money.
- Monitoring and Control
- Plan and execute reliable contribution collection mechanisms to sustain Fund membership.
- Ensure timely updates of member accounts.
- Improve monitoring of non-compliant employers per Fund policies and laws.
- Develop, implement, and review business service standards for optimal customer experience.
- Keep the public informed about the Instituteâs services and products.
- Budget Preparation and Execution
- Collect data to support budget and work plan development.
- Develop and present project and partnership proposals for funding.
- Explore partnership opportunities with public/private organizations to enhance ICT skills growth.
- Identify stakeholders and sensitize them on business opportunities.
- Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports for partners (UCC, ISACA, JICA, Coursera, ITU, etc.).
- Submit reports to the Principal, Management, and Governing Council (GC).
- Mentorship & Coaching
- Develop mentorship and coaching programs for succession planning.

- Drive recruitment, appointment, and retention of qualified staff, including project leads.

Experience - 5 years in strategy, business development, and innovation.
- 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of project planning & proposal writing (advantage).
