Consultancy Services for Updating and Implementing the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the Muzizi Hydropower Project tender at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of a consultant to Update and Implement the Resettlement Action Plan for the Muzizi Hydropower Project.
2. The Entity invites proposals from eligible bidders for the provision of the above services.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205, and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
5. The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$ 100,000p. (Uganda shillings One Hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 903001177319. Stantio Bank upon which bidders shall present a bank deposit slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
6. Proposals must be delivered to the address below before or on 20th June 2025 at 10: 30am. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal securing declaration valid until January 10th 2025. Like proposals shall be rejected. Proposals will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 20th June 2025 at 11: 00 am.
7. Bidders are advised to send qualified & experienced technical representatives to observe all requirements on site in order to come up with the most effective and sustainable proposals. During pre-proposals visit, bidders should come with basic PPE such as a Safety shoes, helmets, masks and a reflector jacket. The pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for Tuesday 16th June 2025 at 9:00am. It will take place at the Muzizi Hydropower Plant, located in Muzizi-B Village, Kyaterakera Town Council, Kapadi District.
