About the role Comcof Group is launching its first consumer product line, and this role owns the execution of that launch end to end. You will work directly with the founder to take our coffee from roasting and packaging partners to the customer, then build the operating rhythm that turns a first release into a repeatable business. This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who wants to be in the room when a company starts trading. - Manage inventory and product availability.
- Coordinate packaging and labelling.
- Process website and WhatsApp orders.
- Coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain customer records.
- Work with creative contractors on product launches.
- Coordinate product photography.
- Build relationships with offices and corporate customers.
- Support subscription launches.
- Prepare weekly operational reports.
- Track sales and inventory.
- Improve customer experience continuously.
Minimum qualifications - Strong organisational ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for coffee, startups, and African business.
- Comfortable using technology.
- Ability to work independently.
- Commercial mindset.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred experience - Experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, hospitality, logistics, or consumer brand operations.
- Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, or delivery partners.
Skills and attributes - Organised, dependable, and quick to follow through.
- Comfortable moving between suppliers, customers, and the founder in a single day.
- Commercially curious: you want to know what sells and why.
- Calm when a launch does not go exactly to plan.
What success looks like - First products launched.
- First 100 customer orders.
- Inventory system operational.
- Customer database established.
- Corporate sales pipeline created.
