POSITION: Cleaner
Job Summary:
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic healthcare environment by cleaning hospital facilities and supporting infection prevention and control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean wards, offices, washrooms, and common areas.
• Disinfect surfaces according to healthcare standards.
• Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and hygiene materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of hospital equipment and furniture.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Competencies:
