The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. - Minimum Qualification : Bachelors

Job Description/Requirements Key Responsibilities: - Design and supervise civil engineering projects, including factory setups, warehouse expansions, and industrial infrastructure.
- Ensure project execution aligns with local and international construction codes, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and structural assessments.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Prepare and review blueprints, technical drawings, and cost estimates.
- Manage project budgets, procurement of materials, and labor allocation.
- Oversee maintenance and improvement of existing structures and industrial facilities.
- Implement quality control measures to enhance project efficiency and durability.
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams and resolve on-site issues.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial construction, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and other civil engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan construction regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience: - Experience in industrial plant construction and factory maintenance.
- Understanding of sustainable construction techniques and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with contract management and vendor coordination.
