- Preparing and disseminating performance standards and indicators for the City notes;
- Providing Technical support to Departments in preparation and production of City Development Plans;
- Appraising and determining City investment priorities;
- Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating performance of City Development Plans, programmes and projects;
- Maintaining an up-to-date City Management Information System;
- Developing and maintaining an up-to-dated bank;
- Producing minutes of Technical Planning Committee of the City Council.
Person Specifications Academic Qualifications - An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics and Quantitative Economics from a recognized Institution
- A master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned fields from a recognized institution.
Work Experience - Should have at least nine (9) years of working experience three (3) of which should have been at a Principal Planner Level in Government or equivalent level from a reputable organization
- Formulating, developing and coordinating City development strategies, plans and budgets;
- Preparing and disseminating performance standards and indicators for the City notes;
- Providing Technical support to Departments in preparation and production of City Development Plans;
- Appraising and determining City investment priorities;
- Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating performance of City Development Plans, programmes and projects;
- Maintaining an up-to-date City Management Information System;
- Developing and maintaining an up-to-dated bank;
- Producing minutes of Technical Planning Committee of the City Council.
