The CIO will manage the investment portfolio under the following considerations: liquidity, time horizon, regulatory restrictions, tax and unique circumstances. Responsibilities or duties: - Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year, multi-asset class and multi-country investment strategy
- Recommend the Investment Policy and strategy to the Board
- Monitor and anticipate global macro-economic, geopolitical, and market developments
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain robust risk management frameworks
- Lead the development of investment risk management models
- Create and maintain a team of professionals
- Build, lead, and mentor a world-class investment team
- Regularly present investment strategies, performance, and risks to the Board
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and fiduciary obligations
- Take a leadership role in the selection, evaluation, and sourcing of external consultants
Qualifications or requirements: - Advanced university degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field
- Bachelorâs degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, or FRM
Experience needed: A minimum of 12 yearsâ experience in investment management with significant exposure to multi-asset classes - Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year, multi-asset class and multi-country investment strategy
