CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER (CISO)

Job Summary

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of Salaam Bank Limited’s information security and cybersecurity function. Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Bank’s information assets, systems, infrastructure, customer information, and digital services.

Responsibilities /Key Deliverables

• Identify, assess, monitor, and manage information security and cybersecurity risks across the Bank.
• Ensure regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security assessments, and security reviews are conducted
• Provide oversight of security monitoring, vulnerability management, endpoint security, network security, identity and access management, and data protection
• Oversee the Bank’s Security Operations Centre (SOC), whether internally operated or outsourced

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or a related Field.
• At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership position within information security/cybersecurity.
• Proactive approach to emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
