Job Description: Chemistry/Mathematics Teacher (Secondary School)

Reports to: Head of Science/Mathematics Department / Head Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Chemistry and Mathematics for O-Level classes.
• Manage the chemistry laboratory, ensuring safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Use formative and summative assessments to track and improve student performance.
• Provide remedial support to low-performing students and enrichment for high achievers.
• Uphold the Christian values and ethos of the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Chemistry & Mathematics) or equivalent qualification.
• Must be a registered teacher with a valid practicing license.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching at the secondary level.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching.
