Job Summary One of our client based in Maldives is looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. - Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
- Experience Level : Senior level
- Experience Length : 8 years
Job Description/Requirements Position:Â Chartered Quantity Surveyor Work Location:Â Maldives Role and Responsibilities: - Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Undertake cost analysis for construction and maintenance project work.
- Perform risk, value management and cost control during the different construction phase to ensure construction process is within the budget and cost.
- Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and Lead on procurement strategy. Maintain up to date procurement schedules.
- Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level.
- Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place.
- Carry out cost management including forecasting Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans and have accountability, along with the project team for the commercial performance and strategy.
- Provide advice on contractual terms and conditions.
- Value completed work and prepare bills for submission to the client.
- Report progress to senior management.
- Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and the site, carrying out other duties as required
Requirements Skills and experience - 8 - 15 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying background is required with good knowledge of the construction industry.
- The candidate will be expected to have good IT skills and be literate in Excel.
- Knowledge of well used Accounting software, Microsoft Project, Revit, Navisworks and CAD would be beneficial.
- Must be a Registered Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
Qualifications - Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
