JOB DETAILS: Role Overview: The Supervisory Committee Chairperson leads the supervisory committee to oversee internal controls, financial reporting, and overall operations of the SACCO. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with the SACCO's financial policies and legal frameworks. • Lead internal audits and reviews to monitor the SACCO’s performance. • Prepare and present reports to the Board and members during the AGM. • Ensure proper governance structures are followed within the SACCO. • Identify risks and recommend solutions for improvement. Requirements: • Strong financial and audit background. • Experience in governance roles, preferably in SACCOs or cooperatives. • Excellent analytical, reporting, and leadership skills.
