Summary of the job:
• Preparing all Balance sheet reconciliations accurately and timeously on a monthly basis.
• Preparing and submitting the weekly and monthly reports to senior management.
• Liaising with the head office (South Africa) support teams about the in-country processes and updates.
• Maintaining regular and adhoc suppliers' records and ensuring the entire procurement chain process is executed accurately and timeously.
• Filing monthly VAT, PAYE, WHT and NSSF Returns and ensuring compliance with the country tax laws and identifying any developments to be incorporated.
• Managing the staff pay-roll and staff records.
• Directly supervising the finance team members and ensuring all internal control processes are fully adhered to.
• Offering administrative support to the overall business unit.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Commerce, majoring in Finance or Accounts.
• Five years of work experience in finance management, accountancy or auditing preferably in an international organization based in Uganda.
• Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills.
• Quick learning ability and flexible character.
• Ability to multitask and work long hours.
• High level of integrity, self-motivation and time management.
