Job Description: Business Development Officer

Reports to: Business Development Director
Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the consulting firm. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to business acquisition and client management.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within the consulting sector.
⢠Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business development targets.
⢠Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
⢠Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
⢠Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
⢠Negotiate contracts and close new business deals in alignment with company objectives.
⢠Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
⢠Collaborate with internal teams (consulting, marketing, finance) to ensure client satisfaction.
⢠Participate in networking events, conferences, and seminars to promote the company.
⢠Provide regular reports to management on business development progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
⢠Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
⢠Proven experience in business development or sales within a consulting environment.
⢠Strong understanding of the consulting industry and market dynamics.
⢠Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
⢠Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
⢠Minimum of a diploma in marketing or any business-related field.
⢠Experience with digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
⢠Marketing or business development experience for at least 2-3 years in a service business.
