Job Summary: To lead and develop a high performing sales team, drive business growth, expand market reach, and achieve monthly sales and portfolio targets through effective strategy execution and team leadership. Key duties/responsibilities: - Recruit, train, coach, and manage a high performing sales team to achieve business growth and market penetration objectives.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly sales and portfolio quality targets.
- Build a performance driven sales culture through coaching, motivation, and continuous team development.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve team performance through regular field visits, performance reviews, and structured reporting.
- Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and market expansion initiatives.
- Lead and support marketing activities to increase product uptake and brand visibility.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, credit procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: - Bachelorâs degree in sales, marketing or a business related field from a recognized institution.
- At least five (5) years relevant work experience in microfinance and banking.
Key Competencies - Proven track record of supervising sales teams and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of microfinance lending practices.
