EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Economics or related field. Masterâs Degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage. Minimum 5-7 years experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships, or enterprise growthâpreferably in industrial, construction, engineering, security, or public-sector environments. Strong understanding of Ugandaâs industrial, defence-related, and commercial sectors. Proven ability to generate revenue, build partnerships, and drive organizational growth. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across Corporationâs operational sectors.
- Conduct market research to assess industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders, including local and international entities.
- Support the growth of Corporationâs joint ventures and collaborative projects.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality business proposals, bids, and commercial tenders in line with Corporationâs standards.
- Oversee negotiation and execution of business agreements.
- Work closely with Corporation subsidiariesâsuch as Corporationâs Construction Works, to identify revenue expansion opportunities and optimize commercial operations.
- Assist in commercialization strategies for new or existing projects within the corporation.
- Promote Corporationâs mission, values, and service offerings to enhance brand visibility and market trust.
