The role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, and managing schools, SMEs, and institutional clients to adopt Sure Payâs digital payment, collection, and disbursement solutions. The Consultant works closely with the Regional Manager, Super-Agents, and other field teams to ensure consistent revenue growth, client satisfaction, and alignment with Sure Payâs strategic objectives for financial inclusion and digital transformation. Responsibilities 1) Client Acquisition & Onboarding - Identify and engage potential schools, SMEs, and institutions to onboard onto Sure Payâs platform.
- Conduct presentations, demos, and product pitches to decisionmakers and influencers.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring all KYC and compliance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain an updated pipeline of leads and prospects, tracking conversion progress and expected revenues.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to prioritize high-potential sectors and territories.
2) Business Growth & Revenue Delivery - Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Drive adoption of SurePayâs core services (school fee payments, merchant collections, digital disbursements, savings, and value-added services).
- Implement cross-selling and up-selling strategies to deepen client relationships and maximize wallet share.
- Monitor client activity and transaction performance; escalate dormant or underperforming accounts with corrective action plans.
- Support implementation of regional marketing campaigns and local activations.
3) Relationship Management & Client Retention - Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and partner institutions.
- Serve as the primary contact for all client issues and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams.
- Conduct periodic client reviews to assess satisfaction, identify new needs, and prevent attrition.
- Share market intelligence and client feedback to inform product design, pricing, and marketing strategies.
4) Compliance, Risk & Data Integrity - Ensure all clients meet Sure Payâs KYC, AML/CFT, and data-protection standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation, transaction records, and CRM data.
- Report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or operational risk events promptly in line with policy.
- Uphold Sure Payâs ethical standards and protect brand reputation in all external engagements.
5) Reporting & Performance Monitoring - Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing leads generated, clientsâ on boarded, revenue achieved, and portfolio performance.
- Track and update sales KPIs and pipeline forecasts using approved CRM or reporting tools.
- Participate actively in regional review meetings, contributing insights, lessons learned, and field opportunities.
- Recommend actionable improvements to enhance regional performance and customer experience.
Qualifications Bachelorâs degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communication, or a related field. Experience Minimum 1â2 years of experience in field sales, agency banking, mobile money, or digital financial services. Business Understanding / Knowledge - In-depth understanding of digital payment ecosystems, especially school fee collections, SME finance, and merchant payments.
- Strong appreciation of financial inclusion models and customer behavior in emerging markets.
- Familiarity with sales funnels, CRM systems, and performance dashboards.
- Awareness of KYC, AML/CFT, and data-protection obligations under Ugandan and regional regulations.
- Ability to align daily activities with Sure Payâs strategic vision, values, and growth objectives.
