Job Description/Requirements Job Purpose A summary of what the job is going to entail. It answers the question of why the job matters to the organization. The Business Development Associate is crucial to our technology company to ensure growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting sales efforts. They will ensure they conduct market research, generate leads, and collaborate with internal teams to align strategies with client needs. This Business Development Associate will ensure drives revenue, keeps the organization competitive by exploring new markets, and fosters long-term client partnerships, ultimately helping the company expand and innovate in a constantly evolving business environment. Company background Sebuuma Technologies Limited is the leading technology company providing business solutions powered by cutting edge technologies to meet their needs. We provide business software solutions, system integrations, system development, cloud services & data management, IT support & maintenance, ICT consultancy and Odoo ERP solutions. Duty Station - Kampala, Jinja and Mbarara. Responsibilities (Expected Deliverables) - Cold calling to new business and/or consumer prospects needing IT Services and Solutions.
- Email, web, social media campaigns to new business and/or consumer prospects.
- Preparing marketing and sales strategies alongside our marketing and sales managers.
- Assisting in the daily growth and development of our company.
- Assisting with efforts of new business acquisition.
- Expertly managing the needs of external customers.
- Developing strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Candidate specification Educational requirements - Minimum requirement of Diploma in business related course. CIM professional qualification is an added advantage.
Work experience. - At least two years experience in marketing of service products.
- A candidate with experience in marketing of IT services and solutions will have an added advantage.
Critical skills required - Outstanding skills, knowledge and other attributes. Eg creative skills, negotiation skills, and communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills through different forms of communication and be able to follow up accordingly.
- Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
- Must carry leadership attributes to form leadership ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Ability to potentially learn new software systems (Odoo CRM, Salesforce etc).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
