The Business Coach is responsible for attracting and selecting entrepreneurs for our client SME support program through targeted outreach, workshops, and individual coaching. He or she supports participants in developing strong business and financial plans and provides ongoing coaching to help selected companies address operational challenges and achieve sustainable growth. Additionally, the Business Coach organizes networking events within the client Uganda business association to encourage peer learning and knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs. Key Responsibilities: - Acquisition of new program participants
- Design and implement innovative marketing initiatives such as direct outreach, email campaigns, social media content, online articles, and information sessions to attract and engage potential program participants.
- Identify and leverage new communication channels and tools to enhance the company's visibility and reach.
- Present the company's program to interested entrepreneurs, provide relevant information materials, and assess candidate eligibility for participation
- Preparation of business and financial plans
- Carry out workshops to assist interested companies in the development of a solid business plan and convey basic knowledge in the field of financial planning (in accordance with the company's templates).
- Coach workshop participants in creating solid business and financial plans.
- Check completeness and plausibility of submitted business and financial plans and refine submitted documents in close cooperation with the companies.
- Support the company's Country Director in conducting final selection interviews.
- Write company portraits.
- Ensure that all data from the selection process is accurately and promptly entered into the CRM system
- Business coaching
- Carry out at least three coaching sessions per entrepreneur and year in accordance with the company's standards.
- Document coaching sessions in the CRM system and take agreed follow-up measures.
- Public Relation
- Create company portraits and publish them on the company's website.
- Write technical articles relevant to the company's target groups and publish them on the company's website and social media channels.
- Company Business Association
- Plan and conduct regular network meetings for the companies as part of the Uganda Business Association.
- Facilitate needs assessments for technical support mandates by experts from Switzerland.
Requirements Mandatory Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
- At least 3 years of experience in entrepreneurship or adequate business management experience
- Experience in dealing with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- At least 30 years of age
- Excellent computer skills

- Leadership skills: Ability to create an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit
- Entrepreneurial skills: Experience in entrepreneurship, knowledge and experience in financial management
- Keen and quick in understanding and dealing with risks and opportunities in a business context

- Ability to relate with entrepreneurs and gain their trust
- Contact skills, persuasiveness: Can easily establish contact with others, has a good relationship with his customers and business partners

- Conveys information in a convincing, understandable and balanced way
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Coaching skills: listening, questioning, giving and receiving feedback
