This role is ideal for highly motivated professionals who enjoy working in the field, driving business growth, and supervising branch teams. The Branch Field & Business Lead will play a key role in expanding our customer base, mobilizing savings and investments, growing our loan portfolio, and recruiting Ssentehub agents within the branch catchment area. Key Responsibilities - Drive branch performance by achieving targets for loans, savings, investments, and new accounts.
- Lead field activities to mobilize customers and grow the branch business.
- Identify and recruit new Ssentehub agents and support their growth within the community.
- Build strong relationships with traders, SMEs, riders, and other local businesses.
- Supervise loan officers, sales officers, and other branch staff.
- Conduct regular field visits to customers and markets to identify business opportunities.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality and support loan recovery efforts.
- Ensure smooth daily branch operations and compliance with company procedures.
- Coordinate branch reporting and track staff productivity.
Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Microfinance, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services.
- Experience in field sales, lending, savings mobilization, or agent network development is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead field teams effectively.
Additional Requirements - Candidates MUST BE ABLE to ride a motorcycle
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field engaging customers and expanding business opportunities.
Compensation - Base Salary: UGX 850,000 per month
- Attractive performance-based incentives based on business growth and branch performance.
